The Millionaire Next Door

Posted on Feb 10 2008
Required reading for anyone wanting to get rich, and stay rich, is The Millionaire Next Door by Thomas J. Stanley and William D. Danko. Stanely and Danko knew, that if you wanted to become a millionaire, you should study millionaires. You should find out how they became millionaires and what they do to stay millionaires. So they got together a focus group of self-made millionaires, and started asking a lot of questions. What they found was surprising.
Stanley and Danko were surprised to find that the millionaires in their focus group did not dress or act or spend money the way most people think they do. Rather than fancy suits and watches the millionaires wore jeans and flannel shirts and $50 watches. They drove older cars and lived in modest homes. They were diligent savers.
The Millionaire Next Door is full of surprising revelations about America’s millionaires. It is a must read for every aspiring millionaire.

Interesting, I just may have to stop and pick up a copy of “The Millionaire Next Door.” Couldn’t hurt!
